Addi-girl and Evan - Our little family

Well it sure has been a fast week! Our sweet little girl is here now and she is so precious. She is a great eater, sleeper and just all around laid back little baby. I know that can change, but I will enjoy every second of it while it lasts. She is sleeping for 3 to 4 hours at a time, and for a nursing baby that is unheard of. I am very lucky. Here are some pics of her since she has been home. Today she is one week old, we can't believe how fast time is going already. I hope to keep my blog updated, but I am also posting pics on Facebook as well.

Getting Closer!!!!

Evan is so excited about Addi coming. He talks about her all of the time. Only a few things he has said worry me a little. One day he will say that he is going to wrap her up in my Snuggie and hold her like an angel. The next day he will say he will only hit her a little and that he is going to take her for rides in his car. I'm sure he will figure it all out. He loves her so much already, it touches my heart when he talks about her. He hugs & kisses my belly every day and talks to Addison and tells her that he loves her. He said from the day we told him I was pregnant that she was going to be a girl. I can't wait to see what the future brings and to see the bond that they are sure to have.

I keep promising Amy that I will post pics of myself. Quite honestly I hate looking at pictures of myself, but I will do it anyway. :-) Jason said yesterday that he has some friends that you can hardly tell when they are pregnant...I definitely do not have that problem. He was just being obnoxious of course. I look like I swallowed a beach ball. ha These pics are from a few weeks ago, she has grown a lot since then.

Snowball Fights and Sledding

We took Evan sledding for the first time and he loved it! He has had so much fun in the snow this year. He has had lots of snowball fights with Wheatley, with Daddy and a couple with Mommy. Nana even got her share of snowballs thrown at her. Grandad was a party-pooper and wouldn't have one with him. :-) He tries to shove Wheatley out the door with him so he can throw snow at her. She loves it and tries to catch the snowballs and eat them. Here are a few pictures of him in the snow.

Although I love watching him have so much fun, I am so OVER IT!

Baby News

We have officially decided that our baby girl's name will be Addison Starr Webster. Evan is so excited to have a sister and we are excited about her too, of course. He talks about holding her and sharing his toys with her and hugging her. I hope that he keeps the enthusiasm after she is here and he sees how boring newborns are. Well they are boring to toddlers, anyway. Moms and Dads do not get bored with a newborn around. They just get tired. :-) I will try to post a couple of the good ultrasound pictures that I have. I get to have a third ultrasound on the 17th. They are checking me for a problem that I hope and pray I don't have....or else it's bed rest for me.

I have started looking in our area for a preschool to send Evan to this next school year. I never knew how overwhelming it would be to think about. I am pretty bummed about public schools in KY, I didn't realize that you have to be in poverty for your child to go to preschool. They took my information, but it sounds like we will have to pay for a private school in order for him to go anywhere. Wherever he goes, he will love it, because he can't wait to go to school and make lots of friends. I hope he feels that way once he goes. Because if we're paying, he's going whether he likes it or not, ha.

Nathan is almost finished with his clinicals to get his Paramedic license. Now he only has about 500+ hours of ride time to do before he can take the "final" test to get his license. I'm really proud of him, he has worked so hard and he is still working hard to complete his ride time before Addison is here. I know he can do it. He has another plan for after he gets his Paramedic license, but we won't get into that just yet. :-) After all, he's the man with plan.
