A Real Snow (Not like Texas)
This was the first snow with just 3inches...
Evan sleding
By nights end we had a total of 30inches with snow drifts towering over 8ft. We had ran out of milk, bread, and butter and Evan was hungry for a butter sandwich. Me and Melissa decided to draw straws on who would walk to the store...
Evan lost...sorry little man be careful!!!

I was not sure what direction my life was headed and was very confused about everything, it was a weird time in my life. I was just out of high school and was pretty much an idiot. :-)
5 things on my list to do today....
1. Spend some QT with my little man - AKA Evan
2. Write a 5 - 7 page paper on HR Management
3. Make chili for dinner
4. Try to watch a little of the Uof L game
5. Work
Snacks I enjoy.....
Chips & salsa is my absolute favorite, also I love cookies.
What I would do if I were suddenly a millionaire.....
First, so that no one would have to worry about bills, I would pay off mine and then the rest of my families debts. I would be sure to set aside funds for my children. Then I would put the rest in the bank, live off of the interest and try really hard to do great things. I would love to build my parents the home of their dreams and whatever kind of cars they want. Then I would open an animal shelter that doesn't euthanize animals.
3 bad habits......
1. Very indecisive
2. I chew my fingernails
3. I am very critical of myself in every way
5 places I have lived.....
1. Louisville, KY
2. Shepherdsville, KY
3. I must lead a very sheltered life!
4.
5.
5 jobs I have had......
1. Concession stand at Wyandotte Park :-) Back in the day
2. Vacuumed & Emptied trash at the fairgrounds
3. Statement Inserter Machinist at National City Bank
4. Customer Service @ KY Farm Bureau Insurance
5. IT Help Center @KY Farm Bureau Insurance
5 things people don't know about me.......
1. When I was younger I wanted to be a country singer - I know I'll get made fun of for that one.
2. I would love to have a giant garden and grow my own vegetables.
3. I planted and cared for 15 rose bushes before I moved to a different house, even a purple one which was my favorite.
4. I would love to own my own bakery one day and/or write novels.
5. I love to do home improvement projects, especially if I get to tear things apart, rip things up or paint. I love taking something that looks like dump and making it look pretty & new.

Thanks Uncle J
Jason and his friend came over this past Saturday night. I love spending time with them. Evan has so much fun with Uncle J because he gets thrown around and played with. So Uncle J put Evan in his new dump truck and pushed him around the house. Evan kept getting back in the truck and saying more, more, more. So Uncle J would do it again and again (he was sweating pretty good) :-). I would like to thank Uncle J. Evan will not get out of his dump truck and he says (and signs) more, more, more. I have pushed him around a little bit, but I have tried to convince him that pushing Mr. Monkey around in his dump truck is just as fun as me pushing him around in it. It didn't really work. Oh and the cute little outfit he has on is one that Nana got for him to wear to church (if you look close enough at the vest, you will see juice from peaches and dried up snot) HA.

Too much time with Uncle Mike?

Gingerbread house...NO MORE!!
Well we decided to make a gingerbread house this year. Thought it would be fun but I must say it was the most aggravating thing to make. Here are some pics...
All was fun and merry...

until there was icing everywhere and the wall caved in...

so if you ever bring a gingerbread house near me or my family be prepared for the consequences as the following will show..

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!
This year I wanted to start a new tradition at Mom & Dad's for Thanksgiving. So I printed out some little pieces of paper that said "I am thankful for" and everyone had to write what they were thankful for this Thanksgiving. So I thought I would share them with everyone.
I am thankful for:
I am thankful for:
- Jackson's Speedy recovery
- Mike's Happy Pants
- Amy & Dusty coming to visit!
- The spirit of the holidays
- Purple gerbils and emerald green bubbles
- Daddy Hugh
- Everything God gives me
- My wonderful family
- A good year and a mindful Father in Heaven
- Nieces and Nephews
- For having the strength to battle through really bad bouts of diarrhea
- Melissa's Bath Tub
- Loving In-Laws (someone was sucking up)
- Turkey!!!
- Family & all the blessings I don't deserve. I am also thankful for all the little moments courtesy the kids. I love it!
- My family, health, home, changes in seasons, laughter, the smell of rain, and most of all when the kids sleep in.
- My family
- Eternal families
- Momma Starr
- Birthdays in Kentucky
- The fact that I live in a free country
- My Life, for God and Jesus Christ, my husband, church, for all of my children & the contribution they are making in this world (a better place), for my precious grandchildren, Jackson's successful surgery, birthdays, holidays, and every occasion when we get together. :-)
- I am thankful for so many things. My family and how they show love for each other and how much they love mom and dad. I'm thankful for the moral support with all I've been through the last six years. I'm thankful for Linda, for all she has done for me since 2001 and all the time she spent watching out for me. I'm thankful we have enough for our needs, since over 2/3's of the world live in poverty and we want for very little. Things are tight right now since my last surgery, but we are in a warm home, with food to eat, and cars to take us to where we need to go. I'm thankful for my wife and all she does to keep us afloat. She works hard and is so good at what she does. I'm thankful for Thanksgiving , and being able to tell each of you I love so much. Happy Thanksgiving, Dad
We all sat in the living room and picked one out of a basket to read each other's so no one would be embarassed. I think it turned out really well and I hope to do it every year. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

Years in the Making...
Blake, Eli and Evan in line for tonight's game.
So to make a long story short Mike was beaten badly. . .again! The final score was: Broncos 31 Bucs 16 with the Bucs scoring 6 points with time running out (come to think of it, time was running out for Mike before the game ever started). Words can't describe the overwhelming joy I felt knowing what I have done, not only for me but for my family. But what came next I must say I was not prepared for. Seems Blake and Eli are not use to seeing daddy getting his butt kicked. Poor Eli was the first to start in, then Blake, it even caught on to Evan. It got so bad that Eli even tried to hide in the toy box.
Eli trying to hide!
Totally disappointed at tonight's game.
My lovely and fully supportive wife hearing the news of the win!
So Mike once again,
ANYTIME ANYWHERE!
Maybe will have it at your house so your wife can witness the devastating loss in person, heck I'm even willing to fly out to Texas and invade another Logsdon household just to defeat you, and don't think Utah isn't out of the question!!!
